STRATEGY OF THE TECHNICAL COMMISSION KARATE OF THE CSIT FOR 2005 UNTIL 2008.

The strategy proposed by the Technical Commission Karate (TCK) of the CSIT can be worded in the items referred to here in after.

1.

To develop rules for TCK based on the regulations and articles of association of the CSIT observing and applying the regulations in the rule rather than the exception within the CSIT

2.

To consolidate the sub-committees Arbitration and Grades. The resolutions as to be strategy are worked out here in detail. All this on the instruction and under the responsibility of the Board of the TCK

3.

To continue working at one international line for the arbitration. In addition to the usual course of instruction for referees, preceding a CSIT - Championship an interim training activity is to be examined with respect to its feasibility. If it appears to be feasible a course can be taken care of by the sub-committee.

4.

To reach a grading / classification of a CSIT referee corps.

5.

To try and reach a basis of recognition and acquisition of Dan-grades. To develop / establish a method that is directed to this basis.

6.

To offer international training weekends. These weekends serve to cover the requirements within CSIT. In principle these trainings can also cover the fields of activity of the sub-committees. Within the CSIT an inventory of the wishes, needs and financial feasibility will have to be taken.

7.

An international programme of activities will have to be arranged, actualized and distributed. Associations being members of the CSIT should be able to participate in one another's international tournaments / activities and be allowed to use one another's referees / cadre.

8.

To try to come to better mutual relations both in the field of sports and socially, as meant and referred to in the Articles of the Association of the CSIT.

9.

To maintain contacts with the associations and federations so as to get shorter lines of communication. This aim at a better understanding of the developments within Karate.

10.

To invited countries as candidates for the organization of the biennial CSIT Championships. To give these candidates guiding-lines, information and advice. The object is to get and maintain a CSIT Championship characterized by high quality, high value and respectability.

11.

To inform national associations regularly of the progress made and developments reached within the TCK and the Karate as practised within the CSIT.

The resolutions as to the strategy can be translated at this moment into the following programme of activities:

  • 2006: CSIT Cadets & Juniors Karate World Cup for Workers Championships in Albena - Bulgaria, preceded by an international CSIT course of instruction for referees and CSIT-Dan examinations.
  • 2007: CSIT Senior Karate Karate World Cup for Workers in ?, preceded by an international CSIT course of instruction for referees and CSIT-Dan examinations.
