Weight categories (maximum 2 persons per category)

• Cadet Male (16 and 17 years old)
  Minimum ranking: >= 6th Kyu

Kumite Individual: -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, +75 kg
Kata individual  (15, 16 and 17 years old)

• Cadet Female (16 and 17 years old)
  Minimum ranking: >= 6th Kyu

Kumite Individual: -53 kg, -57 kg, +57 kg
Kata individual  (15, 16 and 17 years old)

• Junior Male (18, 19 and 20 years old)
  Minimum ranking: >= 4th Kyu

Kumite Individual: -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, -80 kg +80 kg
Kumite team 5 athletes (+2 substitutes) free weight
Kata individual
Kata team (ages 15 till 20 years)

• Junior Female (18, 19 and 20 years old)
  Minimum ranking: >= 4th Kyu

Kumite Individual: -53 kg, -60 kg, +60 kg
Kumite Team 3 athletes (+1 substitute) free weight
Kata individual
Kata team (ages 15 till 20 years)

Year of birth will decides the category

• If there are less than four (4) competitors for a category the contest for that category will not be implemented, too, but the competitors can start in the next higher weight category. If the highest weight category consists of less than four (4) competitors the competitors can started in the next lower weight category.

Maximum members of a delegation 25 persons. Including 2 referees, 1 coach, 1 head of the delegation

Organising country or union is allowed to double their numbers and a maximum of 4 persons per weight category. Maximum members of a delegation of the organiser is 50 persons.
